PTFE Sheets & Rods
Description:
PTFE Sheets
Virgin PTFE Sheets are manufactured from 100% pure PTFE resin with no added recycled material.
PTFE is known for its exceptional chemical resistance, very low coefficient of friction,
non-stick properties, excellent temperature resistance, and reliable electrical insulation.
With a continuous operating temperature range of -200°C to +260°C,
Virgin PTFE Sheets are suitable for demanding industrial, commercial, food processing,
pharmaceutical, chemical, and electrical applications.
PTFE Sheets offer excellent resistance to moisture, hydrolysis, ultraviolet radiation,
and a wide range of chemicals. Their excellent sliding and non-stick properties make them
ideal for applications requiring low friction, corrosion resistance, and dependable
long-term performance.
Advantages
- Excellent Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to a broad range of chemicals and corrosive environments.
- Wide Temperature Range: Performs reliably from -200°C to +260°C.
- Very Low Friction: Provides excellent sliding performance with a kinetic coefficient of friction of approximately 0.06.
- Non-Stick Properties: Naturally non-stick surface helps reduce material buildup and simplifies cleaning.
- Excellent Moisture Resistance: Very low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to hydrolysis.
- Electrical Insulation: Excellent electrical insulating properties for demanding electrical applications.
- UV Resistant: Resistant to ultraviolet radiation for outdoor and exposed applications.
- Food Approved: Virgin PTFE is suitable for applications requiring food-contact compliance, subject to applicable requirements.
- Low-Temperature Performance: Maintains flexibility and performance in extremely low-temperature environments.
- Durable & Versatile: Suitable for demanding industrial applications requiring long-term material performance.
